Cinematography by Ramji is engaging enough and although the dialogues have double meanings, they are invariably funny. But the numbers like ‘Paisa Paisa’ and a few others are entertaining to watch during the film. Pritam’s music is fairly average and nothing to rave about. Also the editing and pace of the film could have been fine tuned. Unfortunately even the climax is a tad disappointing and does not have that extra zing. Also there’s definitely no rational plot and there are too many characters which tends to make you lose track of the sub-plots and there is quite a bit of chaos and confusion. Not an A list comic caper, but one that you can watch and enjoy during the moment.Īpart from Sivan’s comedy being termed as crude and crass with the adult jokes, Sivan apparently uses the style of several other reel comic capers like Phir Hera Pheri, Malamaal Weekly, Garam Masala along with his own style and serves up a mish mash of his own.

#RIYA SEN RITESH DESHMUKH SKIN#

The screenplay has a balanced dose of skin show, jokes, gags and plenty of characters that keep you entertained with their antics.

Sivan’s brand of comedy is entertaining in parts and pieces, there are plenty of double meaning sex related jokes and gags which some may find appealing enough, the disguises by Ritesh are pulled off quite well, the scenes between Ritesh and Anupam though crass at times does entertain, there are some truly funny though crude one liners heard throughout the film, though the script defies logic and sanity the screenplay does have its engaging and appealing moments. Everybody lands up at the same place and everyone is chasing some one or the other. There is also a wannabe gangster Chote Sarkar who operates from a tabela who also gets roped in and is now on the lookout for the diamonds. Now Krishna is off to meet his cousin Arjun. Inspector Maane (Suniel Shetty) is on to Sania and tries to catch her, but she wisely hides the booty in Krishna’s bag before she departs. Jackie Shroff plays an out of action don and Celina Jaitley (Sania Badnaam) is the gangster’s moll, her mission is to bring the diamonds worth 50 crores to her boss. Julie (Koena Mitra) wants to be a renowned pop singer and for that she needs money like the rest of the people. Krishna is the master of disguises and so successfully tries to evade getting caught by constantly changing his get ups. Arjun like everyone else in the story is in need of money, his childhood friend Krishna (Ritesh) is a compulsive gambler and recently fraudulently conned Rana (Chunky Pandey) who in turn is after him for his money.

Shreyas Talpade (Arjun Fernanadez) is a mechanic and is in love with the crazy Shastriji’s (Anupam Kher) daughter Shivani (Riya Sen). The story has been written by Sivan, the screenplay has been done by Pankaj Trivedi and the music has been composed by Pritam. The star cast consists of several characters like Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Chunkey Pandey, Rajpal Yadav, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra, Riya Sen, Bobby Darling and others. Well this film will definitely have its takers the film may appeal to masses who want to watch a time-pass entertainer.Īpna Sapna Money Money has been produced under Subhash Ghai’s banner Mukta Arts and has been directed by Sangeeth Sivan. Director Sangeeth Sivan has used a bit of Priyadarshan’s style where everyone seems to be chasing the other especially in the climax and he has used his earlier style of adult comedy seen in his Kya Kool Hai Hum. But then this film is just that, a time pass comic caper with plenty of obscene jokes that are funny at times, a few gags that entertain, confused characters and a whole lot of crazy drama that makes the audiences just go with the flow. The premise basically consists of everyone running after some hidden diamonds for their own personal reasons, most of the reasons of course not even making sense. But that does not really deter the audiences and this one won’t too. Apna Sapna Money Money belongs to the genre of comedy films, but unfortunately like a lot of comedies this one too does not have any rational or logical plot.
